How to select

An oil-free machine is needed when air comes into contact with the product. Without such requirements, a station with an oil-injected compressor and filters costs less.

Questions and answers

What does class 0 mean?

It is the highest class for oil content in compressed air: no oil enters the air from the compressor, so no oil-removal filters are required.

Is a dryer needed after an oil-free compressor?

Yes, compressed air still contains moisture. The dryer is sized by capacity and required dew point.
