Compressed Air Line Filters, Grades AO, AA, ACS, AX

Line filters for staged cleaning of compressed air from particles, liquid oil and oil vapour. Multi-layer elements of borosilicate and glass fibre, activated carbon and non-woven fabric with a stainless steel support mesh.

Key features

• four grades: AO, AA, ACS, AX;
• particle removal 1–0.01 µm;
• residual oil 1–0.001 ppm;
• pressure up to 16 kg/cm², temperature up to 80 °C;
• initial pressure drop 0.09 kg/cm².

Use in plastics production

• pre-filter before the dryer (AO);
• final cleaning after the dryer (AA, AX);
• removal of oil vapour and odour for packaging and blowing (ACS);
• protection of pneumatics and molds from oil.

Initial pressure drop is 0.09 kg/cm², maximum pressure drop is 0.35 kg/cm².

How to select

A typical layout is compressor → receiver → AO → dryer → AA; ACS is added for packaging and PET blowing. The housing size is selected by air flow.

When should the element be replaced?

When the pressure drop reaches 0.35 kg/cm² or according to the service schedule.

Is a single filter enough?

For air tools, yes. Process air needs staged cleaning.
