Description

Vertical air receiver manufactured and tested to pressure vessel requirements. 7 sizes from 0.3 to 3 m³, design pressure 0.8, 1.0 or 1.3 MPa.

Key features

  • volume 0.3–3 m³;
  • design pressure 0.8, 1.0 or 1.3 MPa, design temperature 150 °C;
  • inlet, outlet and condensate drain connections;
  • vertical design on legs.

Use in plastics production

  • a buffer between the compressor and the plant for peak demand of blow and injection molding machines;
  • fewer compressor starts and speed changes;
  • condensate collection and drainage;
  • an air reserve for safe shutdown of pneumatics.

How to select

Receiver volume is estimated from compressor capacity and the demand profile; VSD compressors can work with a smaller volume. We will calculate the final size from your data.

Questions and answers

Should the receiver go before or after the dryer?

Usually after the compressor and before the dryer: the receiver further cools the air and collects condensate. With sharp demand peaks a second receiver is installed near the consumer.

What connections are used?

From Rp1" for 0.3 m³ to DN80 for 3 m³, see the table.
