Vacuum pumps

Screw vacuum pumps, 4–160 kW, with variable speed drive: oil-sealed units with ultimate pressure down to 35 Pa and oil-free units for clean pumping.

In plastics production vacuum is used for melt degassing in extruders and pelletizing lines, vacuum calibration of pipes and profiles, vacuum loading of raw material, thermoforming and part holding.

A pump is selected by the required pumping speed (m³/h) at the working vacuum, by the composition of the pumped gas and by whether contact with oil is acceptable.
